The main civil measures approved by Royal Decree-Law 8/2020, of March 17, 2018, of extraordinary urgent measures to face the economic and social impact of COVID-19 are:
- While the alarm state is in effect companies that provide electronic communications and telecommunications services must maintain the provision of services, without being able to interrupt or suspend them for reasons other than network integrity and security.
- There are also interrupted the terms for the return of the products purchased by any modality, either in person (when the return is possible according to the conditions of sale), or online (considering the applicable legal or contractual return period).
Given the extension, now even greater, of online purchases, this last forecast is important since, in this way, unnecessary travel and return procedures are avoided, because they can be done later, without worry. and the detriment of having to accept defective products, acquired by mistake or regarding the acquisition of which we have changed our decision.
